Methyl-Beta-Cyclodextrin
This product is a white ultrafine powder with good fluidity. It does not float or aggregate in water and dissolves quickly upon sinking. It has no peculiar smell and a slightly sweet taste. Methylated β-cyclodextrin is an excellent solubilizer, stabilizer and sustained-release agent. It has a relatively high surface tension and is particularly effective in increasing the water solubility of oil-soluble molecules.

Product Features
Among the common cyclodextrin derivatives, methyl-β-cyclodextrin has relatively high surface tension. This product is a white fine granular substance with good fluidity. It sinks and dissolves when entering water; it has no peculiar smell and tastes slightly sweet; it is highly soluble in water and methanol, and easily soluble in ethanol and ethylene glycol, but almost insoluble in cyclohexane and ethyl acetate.
Product Application
Due to the excellent solubilizing and encapsulating effects of methyl-β-cyclodextrin, and because it is soluble in both water and organic solvents, it is widely applied in medicine, food, pesticides, cosmetics, daily chemicals, chemical industry, textile dyeing and finishing, chromatographic analysis, and functional materials. Specifically, it can be manifested as follows:
1. It can increase solubility and utilization rate, enhancing the effect or reducing the dosage;
2. It can adjust or control the release rate of the encapsulated substances;
3. It can enhance the stability of the encapsulated substances, especially more effective in increasing water solubility for oil-soluble molecules.
